Unique Metal Sculpture by Graham Hawkins
“Steelquirks” describes Graham’s work perfectly; hand-crafted in steel with a quirky twist in construction, form or theme.
Graham spent much of his youth around art and more specifically sculpture, helping his Father who worked at Bath Academy of Art.
After a career in IT, he returned to art as a purely personal pastime, creating metal sculptures using skills learned over 30 years ago. As the sculptures filled his home and garden he was encouraged to share his work with a wider audience.
Having had no formal art education beyond A level, Graham feels no restrictions as to what or how he should make things and does not feel the need to pursue a single direction.
When asked what inspires him, Graham’s usual reply is “anything and everything”. He’s even been known to pause the TV to take a photo of something which catches his eye and sparks his imagination.

I've been a bit lax in updating this website, sorry about that. The background admin takes a while and is not as much fun as creating sculpture!
Most exhibitions are over now and I've done my last art fair of the year, a very successful Bath Contemporary Artists Fair.
Now it's time to be thinking about next years exhibitions as applications have to be in soon for those taking place in the summer!
I have a few pieces on the go and I'll post more about them soon.
For now have a great holiday season. I know I'm looking forward to a break.

I do not have a web based shop, I prefer people to have the opportunity to view, hande and fully experience my work before committing to making a purchase.
Accordingly I attend local Art Fairs in Chippenham, Cirencester and Bath. I have also had my work in a number exhibitions, and on display in galleries. Below is a list of Art Fairs I will be attending in the coming months.
Where to find me 2026
